I have been invited as speaker on “Agro and Municipal Solid Waste to Power – Challenges & Way ahead for India” conference by NTPC Ltd (India’s National Electricity Company) in New Delhi on 8-9 May 2018. Under Swachh Bharat Mission (SBM) launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, it is proposed that 200 Waste to Energy (WtE) plants be set all over India.

I am expected to share and discuss on how a waste to energy technology to be selected, what parameters decided the technology selection, and how it has been carried out in Indonesia. This is two days conference to exchanges ideas and experience with wide variety of decision makers, experts and investors under one roof. The admission to this conference is solely on invitation basis. Hon’ble Minister of State-IC (Power and New & Renewable Energy) shall inaugurate the conference and discuss with the participants.
