“Agro and Municipal Solid Waste to Power – Challenges & Way ahead for India” conference in New Delhi inaugurated by Hon’ble Minister of State-IC (Power and New & Renewable Energy). Under Swachh Bharat Mission (SBM) launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, it is proposed that 200 Waste to Energy (WtE) plants be set all over India. It's my pleasure to share and discuss on how a waste to energy technology to be selected, what parameters decided the technology selection, how it has been carried out in Indonesia, and give some insight for its implementation in India.
